Jeep is recalling nearly six model years of its plug-in hybrid SUVs after reports of fires linked to defective high-voltage batteries.
In total, more than 375,000 of the SUVs are under the recall, with the bulk of them being in the U.S. Stellantis is cautioning vehicle owners not to recharge their batteries regarding the recalled vehicles. Also, the company is recommending owners park the recalled SUVs away from structures and other vehicles until a fix is made.
