How does a droopy eyelid (ptosis) happen with anti-wrinkle treatment? 👀💉 Let me know your thoughts ⬇️🤔 When treatment is injected inadvertently into the Levator palpebrae superioris (LVP) we see relaxation of this muscle which causes the eyelid to droop. This is important to distinguish from an eyebrow ptosis (caused by over-relaxation of the forehead muscle). Because the LVP muscle lifts the upper eyelid, relaxing makes it very difficult to open the eye which can cause difficulty with vision
