XPENG has unveiled its next-generation humanoid robot, IRON, at the 2025 AI Day in Guangzhou, China. The robot features a lifelike design with a spine, bionic muscles, and a hand with 22 degrees of freedom, showcasing a leap forward in robotics engineering. Powered by three in-house AI “Turing” chips, IRON delivers impressive computing performance, enabling smooth, human-like movements. XPENG plans to initially deploy the robot in commercial roles such as reception, sales, and guiding visitors.
